In this sentence, we compare the rabbit with the turtoise. It means compare two things, so we add 'er' to the adjective 'fast', then the adjective 'faster' show the comparation for the speed of their running.


In this sentence, we compare Jennifer's eyes with the other eyes I have seen. It means compare more than two things, so we add 'the most' to the adjective 'beautiful', then the adjective show the comparation to the beauty of people' eyes.
